Jewels are commonly used accessory pieces in many different LEGO themes. It looks like a faceted diamond with a stick so that Minifigures can hold them. They have appeared in 11 different colours. These could be used to represent many different types of precious stones, including emerald, sapphire, diamond, amethyst, ruby, topaz, opal, pearl, jade, or beryl, depending on context or opinion.

- A solid red jewel piece appeared in 3118 Fun Fashion Boutique. This is the only time a solid-coloured jewel has appeared in any set.
- The Belville sets often contain pink and clear jewels.
- The latest new color of jewels, Trans-Orange and Trans-Yellow, first appeared in the 2010 LEGO Games set, 3840 Pirate Code.
