Inventory[edit source]

BTW, if you have any more places you want name-changing, like those Inventories you've just done, I can do them with my bot if it would save you the effort, it would only take a second for the bot :) UltrasonicNXT (talk)

Import[edit source]

Hey, thanks for manually importing some pages my bot missed, but you MUST make sure you import the full history, not just the current revision! UltrasonicNXT (talk)

Also, make sure to uncheck the box that says about importing templates :P CJC95 (talk) 12:13, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

Rating downgrades...[edit source]

  • ...really need to take place in a QC forum ;) NovaHawk 10:48, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
    • No worries, just letting you know :) It's not made very clear anywhere, all of our policy pages are in serious need of fixing up NovaHawk 22:22, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

Username[edit source]

I'm about to rename your account back to Legoboy9373, and then back to Vasko, to try and update the SocialProfile tables (so Special:TopUsers should show your new name for example). It shouldn't affect anything at all, but just letting you know :) UltrasonicNXT (talk)

Yay it worked :) UltrasonicNXT (talk)

QC stuff again[edit source]

  • Hi Vasko, sorry if you already know this (or if I confused you last time about the c2 downgrades)- you don't have to make a forum to promote articles to c2. You're more than welcome to of course if you're unsure if it should be c2 (I've made a fair few forums myself). You only need to make forums for c1 and fa noms, and for anything about downgrading articles to a lower rating (that excludes c2f ratings- if a future article's no longer up to date, you can just downgrade it). Again, sorry if you already know all this and I'm sounding like some condescending idiot :P NovaHawk 10:16, 9 February 2014 (UTC)

Copy-pasted message to any admins still around[edit source]

"External Links" v. "External links"[edit source]

Hey, just wanted to let you know I'm trying to get a consistency in section headers such as External Links where it's "External links" (only the first word capitalised). Same goes for "See also" rather than "See Also". Why? No real reason beyond how it displays. Most pages are already set up with "External links". Don't bother manually changing them though since it's not that important; my bot can do it automatically periodically. Just wanted to let you know. :) --ToaMeiko (talk) 15:00, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

Yeah, sorry about that. The fact that I never knew the right one and the majority of pages I've recently seen had "links" capitalized speaks for itself. So the one we opt to use is the lowercase one? Vasko (talk) 16:43, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
That's what I think is better. I don't know if it's something we should vote on (since it's ridiculously minor of a thing), but it's what my bot naturally wants to do, and it's what Wikipedia and other wikis like that do. But if we see a page that says "External Links" we shouldn't bother going out of our way to fix it; just leave it and my bot will get to it next time I decide to run it on the whole wiki. --ToaMeiko (talk) 18:43, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

NovaHawk's annoying weekly message- 2016, issue 1!

Welcome to NovaHawk's annoying message, a member of NovaHawk's annoying things that NovaHawk does. I hope you like this message and choose to treat it with love.

Ok, fine, I'll stop now. Hi, this is the first of a set of weekly reminders pointing out some of the community-based discussions that should be taking place, but aren't. Every week, links will be provided to some discussions which have started but have had their last edit as early as October 2013. Hopefully by resolving one or two things a week, we should be through most of the important stuff by June.

One new thing I'm introducing is the Featured Forum. Every week, one topic from Brickipedia:Forum will go up. But the end of the week, it will be closed for good. The forum is just getting waaay to long and nothing is getting resolved on it. So please, if you do nothing else, just take a look at the featured forum once a week, it shouldn't take too long. If you have no opinion, please just sign your name in the bottom section so we know you've at least seen it so we don't have to worry about what your opinion might be (and it bumps it up in the RC as well). Also, take a look at the things below if you can.

Here are a few helpful links:

Important changes for 2016[edit source]

Brickipedia and the Brickimedia Network are undergoing big changes in 2016. Discussions are currently open and need your input at Project:2016 Changes:

  • New hosting – Brickipedia is considering changing servers. Please share your opinion on the matter.
  • Consolidate the sites – Brickimedia Customs and LEGO Stories Wiki have recently merged, but to further optimize the site and the community, it has been proposed to consolidate the sites to simply Brickipedia and the Great Ball Contraption Wiki.
  • Readership and Engagement – Proposal to frequently survey the community and visitors to gather data to continue optimizing the site.
  • Scrap the Admin Wiki – Proposal to give the community more transparency by deleting the private admin wiki for Brickimedia.
  • New subsites – Ideas to expand Brickipedia's project scope by adding new namespaces.

Please voice your opinion and read over the proposals and comments! --ToaMeiko (talk) 02:00, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

Olivia is a Friends mini-doll figure introduced in 2012. She is one of the five main characters of the theme and the protagonist of the television series LEGO Friends of Heartlake City, appearing in all seven episodes. She is the smart girl of the group of friends. She currently appears in twenty sets and she has seventeen variations between them. Olivia also appears in thirty-eight of the forty-eight Friends webisodes. Olivia has seventeen variants, all of which have the same hairpiece. The headpiece's eye colour was initially amber in 2012 but was later changed to a rust brown colour. Olivia has light nougat skin. Olivia's eyes are currently rust brown in colour. Above her eyes, she has curved black eyebrows. She has a smile, which is decorated with bright purple lipstick.

Featured review This month's featured review is on 10696 LEGO Medium Creative Brick Box, written by Brikkyy13.

Bclassic1.JPG

Hello! Today I'm reviewing one of the Classic sets that are new for 2015, 10696 LEGO Medium Creative Brick Box. This set was kindly donated to Brickipedia by our friends over at The LEGO Group. So, is this set worth picking up, or is it just another parts pack? As you can see, the packing is quite unconventional. Like most sets branded under the "LEGO" name alone (i.e. not any specific theme) the parts are packaged in large re-usable for containers.

Keetongu.png

8755 Keetongu was released as a set in 2005. He included a bright red Rhotuka spinner. A lock on his chest armour allowed one to open his chest cavity and fire a Rhotuka spinner as in the story. His whirling shields could be spun with an axle on his right arm, and their area increased as they spun and decreased when they again became still. The Keetongu set contained 201 pieces which could be combined with the pieces of Roodaka to create The Shadowed One set, with the pieces of Sidorak to create the Sentrakh set, or with the pieces of both Sidorak and Roodaka to create the Voporak set.

Winter Holiday Train[edit source]

Hi. If you could send me an email with your name and shipping address, that would be swell. Please do it quickly, because we have to get back to LEGO before the 19th. Thanks. :) Berrybrick (talk) 00:57, 17 August 2016 (UTC)

IP Block[edit source]

Sorry if I am missing any context here, but for the block of Special:Contributions/83.230.38.58, I believe IP blocks are supposed to be non-indefinite (i.e. a year or few in length only) here, since, as Wikipedia puts it, "Many IP addresses are dynamically assigned and change frequently from one person to the next, and even static IP addresses are periodically re-assigned or have different users." Hope this makes sense, and my apologies if I misinterpret the situation. 96.51.149.32 00:51, 14 October 2016 (UTC)

I've taken care of that. LCF (talk!) 01:03, 14 October 2016 (UTC)

Re: Can't log in[edit source]

  • Good to see you're back in, that's weird you had to wait for it to change though, it should be instant. Also I know it isn't any use to you anymore, but apparently emails are working again (just saw Ajr mention this in the forum), at least we shouldn't have this problem if any of us lose our passwords in the future NovaHawk 23:17, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

Re:Uploading[edit source]

  • Thanks Vasko, I'll see if there's anything I can do. Can't say I've had any problems uploading anything since uploads have been changed to a local thing so I don't know of any obvious fixes NovaHawk 07:09, 28 April 2017 (UTC)

Re: First Order Walker Driver[edit source]

  • Hey, yeah I've noticed Wookieepedia's been a bit slow with new articles since the whole Legends/Canon split, they really should have one by now. Problem is that linking to a redlink probably just makes us look bad for having a bad link. Also they may have it under a different name in the future (like "AT-M6 driver") and we might miss that and have a permanent redlink there. I'm keeping a pretty close eye on the changes to the Episode VIII article over there- if they make a page it should be added to that article's Appearances list pretty quickly and I can always add it back to our page when the link works :) NovaHawk 07:21, 6 September 2017 (UTC)
