Many sets with a Jedi starfighter have been released under the LEGO Star Wars theme. A Jedi starfighter has been released with every new LEGO Star Wars Subtheme that has been started since the creation of Star Wars: Episode II.
Background Information[edit | edit source]
The Delta-7 Aethersprite was bought by the Jedi right before the outbreak of the Clone Wars. The starfighter was highly advanced and carried sophisticated equipment, but it was expensive to make. The ship was armed with two laser cannons and was the main Starfighter for the Jedi during the Clone Wars. Later the Delta-7B Aethersprite-class light interceptor replaced this ship in the Clone Wars and the Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor after it. The Jedi Starfighters were known for their speed and small size.
