Biography[edit | edit source]

Jamie Berard was born in the United States. As a kid, his favourite theme was Town. He would often make MOCs of things such as amusement park rides.[1] He dreamed of becoming a LEGO set designer since he was a kid, and was supported by his family to do so. He first became involved in the adult LEGO fan community when he ran into New England LEGO Users Group (NELUG) members at a LEGO store and later attended a LUG meeting. Jamie participated in a Master Model Builder competition alongside other notable names such as Nathan Sawaya and was named a finalist, and soon later attended Brickfest 2005, where he met a manager at the LEGO Group and showed him his MOCs. This encounter led to Jamie being recruited for the Creator design team.
