- February: Godtfred Kirk Christiansen demonstrated the LEGO bricks at a toy fair in Nuremberg, Germany, though judges did not find them very appealing.
- Sales of LEGO's bricks began to improve, but they were not yet the core LEGO product.
- LEGO toys went on sale in Sweden and Germany for the first time.[1]
- The first LEGO trees were introduced.
