  • February: Godtfred Kirk Christiansen demonstrated the LEGO bricks at a toy fair in Nuremberg, Germany, though judges did not find them very appealing.
  • Sales of LEGO's bricks began to improve, but they were not yet the core LEGO product.
  • LEGO toys went on sale in Sweden and Germany for the first time.[1]
  • The first LEGO trees were introduced.
  • 2x2 Quarter Circle and 2x4 Half Circle Curved Bricks were introduced.
