- The LEGO minifigure celebrates its 25th birthday.
- LEGO introduces new skin tones for mini-figures based on actual people. This affected the Star Wars, Harry Potter, Basketball, Ferrari and Spider-Man lines, but yellow skin tones are retained for all other figures.
