Thanos is a Marvel Super Heroes minifigure that appears in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes as a DLC character. In 2016 he appeared in a set as a big-fig.
Thanos provided Loki with the Chitauri so he could take over the Earth in exchange for the Infinity Stone known as the Tesseract.
After Loki was defeated, the Other told his master that to attack the Avengers would be to court death. To this, Thanos simply smiled. Later, Thanos helped Ronan the Accuser and told him to bring Gamora to him. Thus, Ronan had a bout with the Guardians of the Galaxy which did not end well for him. In the end, Thanos lost both of his "daughters", the other being Nebula. Thanos also appeared after Ultron was defeated deciding he needs to go into battle himself if he wants to get the Infinity stones, all the while fitting the Infinity gauntlet on his hand.
In the comics, Thanos had fought Silver Surfer on occasion and even faced the core of the Marvel Universe in the Infinity Gauntlet storyline.
Thanos is a big-fig, meaning he can pick up cars and rip chunks out of the ground to throw. He can also use a power attack, which instantly kills any other character. But, unlike any other figure, Thanos is the only big-fig character that can use the Power Cosmic.
