[List of appearances]

Waxer is a playable character in LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, and is based on the clone trooper of the same nickname in the Star Wars universe.

Description[edit | edit source]

Waxer with his rocket launcher ready.

Waxer has a standard The Clone Wars Clone Trooper torso and leg design. The only difference between the models used for a standard clone trooper and Waxer is his helmet. Waxer has black tally marks on each side on the top section of his helmet, representing the number of Battle Droids Waxer had destroyed. The helmet also features the orange of the 212th Attack Battalion, present around the base of the helmet's crest and also a small mark under the visor.

In the game, Waxer is armed with a rocket launcher, and like all clones in most situations, is able to throw an EMP grenade, grapple, and access clone trooper and Senate commando panels.

Background[edit | edit source]

Waxer was a clone trooper who served Ghost Company, a unit led by General Kenobi and Commander Cody. During the Battle of Ryloth, Ghost Company was tasked with destroying a set of Separatist cannons which were preventing the bulk of the Republic forces from landing. After fighting their way through Separatist forces, the Company arrived in the deserted city of Nabat. Waxer and Boil were tasked by Cody to scout the area, when they came across a Twi'Lek girl, Numa, when they came under attack from creatures released by the Separatists. Numa led Waxer and Boil into a set of underground tunnels to escape, and they soon met up with the rest of the unit. Kenobi, after talking with Numa, learned that a series of tunnels could lead to the cannons and captured Twi'Leks. After the cannons were successfully destroyed, the Republic then moved in to liberate the rest of the planet.

Waxer was later present in the Second Battle of Geonosis, and the Battle of Umbara, where he was in charge of a platoon. Waxer was killed by members of the 501st forces led by Captain Rex, when the corrupt Jedi Pong Krell led each side to believe that the other clone troopers were actually Umbarans in clone trooper armour.
