- “Do you dare to face my blade?”
The Musketeer is a minifigure that was released in 2011 as part of 8804 Minifigures Series 4.
Description[edit | edit source]
The Musketeer has a blue top with a fleur-de-lis symbol on it, along with a collar and a belt which goes from his left shoulder down to his right hip. He has black legs with orange markings at the knee. He wears a large black hat, similar to Johnny Thunder's, but larger, with a white plume on the top on the side. This hat is also worn by Hector Barbossa. His one accessory is a new sword, a Foil.
Background[edit | edit source]
The Musketeer is based on characters from upon Alexandre Dumas' novel, the Three Musketeers and its numerous adaptations. It is unclear which, if any of the three primary musketeers (Athos, Aramis and Porthos), this Musketeer is based on. While his title suggests proficiency with firearms, the Musketeer is more renowned for his skill with a blade.

"Do you dare to face my blade?"
To the dashing Musketeer, there's nothing in the world better than a clash of blades with a worthy opponent. Of course, when you're as good with a sword as he is, worthy opponents are pretty few and far between!
The Musketeer searches the world high and low for skilled adversaries. But alas, every duel ends in quick victory, and then there's nothing left to do but shake his defeated rival's hand with a thanks for trying. And then, with a smile, a wink and a bow, the Musketeer departs to seek his next opponent!
