- “Excuse me, but do you happen to have any gold?”
The Conquistador is a Minifigures minifigure from Series 8 released in 2012.
The Conquistador has a tan helmet coated in gold with a red plume. His head is yellow with eyes, a mouth and a brown beard, moustache, eyebrows as well as side burns. The Conquistador has an unmarked dark red body and dark grey hands. He has a base-colour pearl breastplate covered in gold with several markings. At the top of the breastplate is a silver 'plate' with five circles on it. Below this is a black line going down to another silver 'plate' with another fire circles on it. Below this at the sides of the breastplates are four brown straps going down and four silver oval 'rings', one 'ring' on each strap. The Conquistador has a dark red hips piece with gold armour markings on it. His legs are base-colour light grey coated with maroon until halfway down and gold plantings. The Conquistador legs are light grey and dark red. The Conquistador carries a rapier.
The Conquistador is one of the few minifgures to have historical backgrounds, and most notably invading the Aztecs, and taking their gold, which did not mean much to the Aztecs, due to the high amounts of the substance. Conquistadors were generally from Spain and Portugal, and were often sent around South America in search for treasures.
- He has the same Rapier (Foil) as the Musketeer and Dr. Rodney Rathbone.
- His bio mentions the Leprechaun, and the Aztec Empire.

“Excuse me, but do you happen to have any gold?”
The Conquistador likes gold. REALLY likes gold. It’s not so much about the wealth; he just thinks that it looks really good, and he’d like all of his stuff to be made out of it. If he had his way, he’d be living in a solid gold house, taking a nice bath in a gold tub full of golden coins. And the towels and shampoo would be gold, too.
The Conquistador has traveled all across the world in search of gold, but he hasn’t had a lot of luck so far. For some reason, the people he meets always want to keep theirs, which seems pretty selfish to him – especially that Leprechaun, who just up and disappeared. Fortunately, he’s heard about this newly-discovered place called the Aztec Empire. He figures he’ll stop by there next and see if they’ve got any gold they don’t mind sparing!
