Snap Wexley, also referred to as Resistance X-Wing Pilot, is a Star Wars minifigure released in 2016.
Description[edit | edit source]
The minifigure's head piece features a face with a beard, while the body and leg pieces are dark orange and based on a Resistance flight suit. The body piece has black hands, and printing on the front and back. A white vest worn over the orange suit is printed on both sides, as is a grey belt with straps hanging off the front, and both are outlined and detailed in black. The belt also features some dark grey areas for clasps for straps and further detailing. On the front of the top left-hand side of the vest is a black starbird used as a logo for the Resistance (and formerly the Rebel Alliance), and in the centre is a grey rectangular life support system. The system has a dark grey area in the centre, and dark grey, blue and white buttons on it. Connected to the bottom of the life support system is a black tube, which continues on to the legs. The tube printing is printed on the leg joint and the left leg, which ends about half-way down the leg and goes into a pocket outlined in black. The legs also feature an empty pocket on the other leg, and two grey straps continuing from the body, with one clasp on each strap.
Snap comes with two accessories- a black blaster pistol and a white Resistance helmet. The helmet has a transparent yellow visor, with blue markings, and has the text "POPSAEBOO" printed in Aurebesh.

Background[edit | edit source]
As a boy, Temmin Wexley was a key member in a group which liberated his homeworld of Akiva from Imperial rule months after the Battle of Endor. He later participated in the Battle of Jakku at the age of sixteen, and then went on to serve in the New Republic Starfleet as an X-wing pilot where was known as "Snap", a nickname given to him by Wedge Antilles. Wexley was eventually recruited by the Resistance, becoming a Captain in Blue Squadron. When the Resistance launched an assault on Starkiller Base after it destroyed the Hosnian System, Wexley and the rest of Blue Squadron flew alongside Red Squadron and Black Leader, Commander Poe Dameron. The squadrons were successful in destroying the base, and Snap was one of seven X-wing pilots to survive the battle.
