Obi-Wan Kenobi is a minifigure based on a character from the Star Wars universe of the same name. To date, twenty-five variants of Obi-Wan Kenobi have been released, with another one to be released later in 2014. Kenobi first appeared in the opening year of the LEGO Star Wars theme—1999. He has also appeared in all four LEGO Star Wars video games, with a total of eight different characters.

Two different Obi-Wan minifigures were released in 1999- one depicting his appearance in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, the other being based on his appearance in Episode IV: A New Hope. Obi-Wan's original Episode IV minifigure has tan legs with a dark brown leg joint, and a tan torso piece with yellow hands. The torso piece has black printing for the outline of Ben's robes and also for wrinkles on the outer robe. Red-brown printing is used towards the top of the piece for depicting an inner robe, and yellow printing is also used as skin, joining the torso piece to the head. The head piece is yellow, with light grey printing on it in the shape of a beard, and it is also used for his eyebrows. Black printing is used for the mouth and also for the two dot-eyes, and a standard light grey hairpiece is used. This variant of Obi-Wan came armed with a blue-bladed lightsaber with a chrome silver hilt.

Obi-Wan's 1999 Episode I figure had a plain brown leg piece, and a tan torso piece with yellow hands. The torso piece had black printing to represent his Jedi robe and the outline of a belt, the belt being filled in with brown printing and a silver clasp. Yellow printing is used at the top of the torso piece to represent skin. The head piece is yellow, with black printing for the eyes and mouth, and brown printing for the eyebrows. He came equipped with a brown cape, brown hood, and a chrome silver hilted, blue-bladed lightsaber.

Kenobi's next variants came in 2002, two as a part of the new Episode II: Attack of the Clones subtheme, and a redesigned figure for Episode I. Both Episode II variants had plain tan legs with the same torso piece used for Obi-Wan's original Episode I variant. The only difference between the two Episode II variants is the head piece- the one which appeared in the 7143 Jedi Starfighter had additional printing on the head for a headset, with a black microphone running down the right-hand side, and gold printing for the top of the headset above the eyebrows. Both head pieces have orange printing on it for Obi-Wan's beard and eyebrows, and black printing for the eyes and smiling mouth. An orange hair piece that is commonly found on female minifigures is used, to depict Obi-Wan's longer hair that he had during Episode II. Like all of the previous variations, both Episode II Obi-Wans were armed with a blue-bladed lightsaber with a chrome silver hilt.

Obi-Wan's second Episode I variant had the same legs, head, lightsaber and cape as the original, but instead of a hood, he had a standard brown hairpiece. The torso piece was the same except for some additional printing on the top-right hand side, depicting his brown Padawan braid.

In 2004, a Ben Kenobi was released in the 4501 Mos Eisley Cantina. This variant had all of the same features as his original Episode IV variant, except the grey printing and hairpiece was changed to a new grey, due to The LEGO Company changing the shades of greys that they commonly used on pieces. This variant of Obi-Wan does not come with any accessories.

2005 saw the release of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and the release of three new variants from this subtheme of the now Jedi Master. In the 7255 General Grievous Chase, Obi-Wan has orange legs with a tan leg joint and a tan torso piece with flesh-coloured hands. Brown printing is used on the torso for a utility belt and an inner robe, with silver detailing on the belt and black lines in varying thickness for outlining and wrinkles. A flesh-coloured headpiece is used, with orange printing once again for the beard, and black printing for the eyes and mouth. This variant of Obi-Wan comes with a standard orange hairpiece, and comes equipped with a brown cape, as well as a blue-bladed lightsaber with a plain grey hilt. In the 7283 Ultimate Space Battle, Obi-Wan has the torso, leg and hair pieces in common with the previous variant, but his head piece has additional printing on it to depict a golden headset on the right-hand side of his face. In this set, Obi-Wan's hilt is chrome silver. A Light-Up Lightsaber figure of Obi-Wan was also released in the 7257 Ultimate Lightsaber Duel, the difference between this figure and a standard minifigure being that the head cannot be removed from the torso, and a lightsaber that cannot be removed is attached to the end of the right arm instead of a hand. When the head is pressed down, the lightsaber will light up. Apart from these changes, Obi-Wan's appearance remains the same as his appearance in the 7255 General Grievous chase, except that he comes with a hood instead of a hairpiece.

Two years later, another three Obi-Wan variants were released- one each from Episode I, Episode III, and Episode IV. The new Episode I variant used the same printing for the headpiece as his other Episode I variants, but the piece itself was flesh-coloured. The torso piece for this version is the same as his previously existing Episode III versions, and he came with plain tan legs. He came with a brown hood and cape, and a blue-bladed lightsaber with a plain grey hilt. Obi-Wan's Episode III variant from 2007 is identical to his variant from the 7283 Ultimate Space Battle, except his legs are plain tan. This variant came without any accessories. The Episode IV variant was redesigned with a new torso piece- black lines for robe detailing, dark brown printing for an inner robe and belt with some flesh printing at the top for skin. The hands on the torso piece are flesh-coloured, as is his head. The face has been redesigned, with the grey printing for a beard and eyebrows being in a different shape to the original, black printing for dot eyes and a new expression with the mouth, and some orange printing for extra detailing on the face. The plain tan legs and grey hairpiece are once again used for this variant, however no accessories are included with him.

In 2008, another Ben Kenobi was released for the 10188 Death Star. This variant was similar to the 2007 one, with the same legs and head. The torso piece was similar, except the dark brown printing is of a lighter shade, and some black detailing is present on the inner robe. He comes equipped with a hood cape, and a lightsaber with the original chrome silver hilt. 2008 also saw the release of the new The Clone Wars line, and with it came a new Obi-Wan. This variant has white legs with a tan leg joint, a tan torso with white arms and black hands, with dark brown printing for the belt and inner robe, brown printing for outer robe detailing, white printing at the top of the piece representing light armour, and black lines for armour detailing. A flesh-coloured head is used, with the printing style being noticeably different in overall appearance to his movie variants, as is common with minifigures from The Clone Wars theme. The minifigure has orange printing for the beard and eyebrows, black printing for the mouth, and the eyes are white with blue irises and black pupils. Extra detailing is also present around the eyes. A new orange hairpiece is included with this variant, and is still currently exclusive to Obi-Wan minifigures. To date, this Obi-Wan has been released in a total of three mainstream sets- in the 7676 Republic Gunship, he was released with a blue-bladed lightsaber with a plain grey hilt, but in the 7753 Pirate Tank and 7931 T-6 Jedi Shuttle, the hilt is a silver colour.

A magnet set was released with Obi-Wan in it during 2009. This Obi-Wan minifigure was the same as his latest pilot version in the 7661 Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive Booster Ring, but with a brown hood and cape instead of a hairpiece. A blue-bladed lightsaber is also included.

In 2010, a Ben Kenobi was released in the 8092 Luke's Landspeeder, which was similar to his Death Star variant, the main differences being that the black dot eyes have white pupils in them, and he comes with a grey hairpiece instead of a hood and cape, but the chrome silver lightsaber remains the same. Also, instead of the mouth being a straight line, it was curved slightly upwards at the ends.

In 2011, the latest Millennium Falcon was released, and Ben appeared once again, having the same head, torso and leg pieces as the 2010 version, but with a hood and a cape. The lightsaber hilt was also a plain silver instead. Another Obi-Wan was released in 2011, this one being the fourth incarnation of his Padawan variant. This minifigure has plain tan legs, a tan torso piece with flesh-coloured hands with redesigned printing- black and brown for robe detailing and flesh printing at the top, and a double-sided headpiece. The head printing depicts a serious Obi-Wan on one side, with brown eyebrows, a turned-down black mouth and black eyes with white pupils, along with additional face detailing. The other side of the face is similar, with the main difference being that the mouth is changed to a one-sided smile. This variant of Obi-Wan comes with a hood, cape, and silver hilted lightsaber.

For 2012, a redesigned Episode III version was included with the 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor. This latest version of Obi-Wan has plain sand yellow legs, the same torso piece as his 2011 Padawan variant, and a flesh coloured head. Like many of the 2011 and 2012 Star Wars minifigures, the head piece has a double-sided print. One side has orange printing in a new design for the beard and eyebrows and a black mouth and eyes (with white pupils), with the other side being similar, but with the eyebrows slanting downward toward the middle, and an angry, clenched mouth with white for teeth instead of a plain black line. The hair piece is similar to his The Clone Wars hairpiece, but with less hair at the front of the piece and shaping at the sides to represent ears. As is common with most of the recent Obi-Wan variants, he comes armed with a blue-bladed lightsaber with a silver hilt.

The second wave of 2012 saw the release of the fifth Padawan variant of Obi-Wan. It retains many of the features of the fourth Padawan variant, but has more detailed printing in the belt area and the inner robe is printed in a lighter colour. A Padawan braid is also printed down the right-hand side of the torso piece. The head piece is also updated to have a different expression to those in the 2011 variant on one side. On the other side, a rebreather is printed over Obi-Wan's mouth, showing the minifigure is based on the scene in Episode I where Obi-Wan had to swim underwater to travel to Otoh Gunga. Instead of a hood piece, an orange hairpiece is used, but the minifigure retains a blue-bladed, silver hilted lightsaber as an accessory.

In 2013, a redesigned The Clone Wars variant was released for Obi-Wan. Unlike the original The Clone Wars variant, this version of Kenobi does not feature him wearing armour, instead he wears tan-coloured robes with a brown inner robe and belt. The belt, which is printed on the front and back of the torso, has printing for utility pouches and some silver detailing. The back also features black outlining, which is used to depict a folded back hood. His legs are a burnt orange with a tan leg joint. Black and tan printing is used on the leg piece to depict the bottom of his robe. Obi-Wan's face has similar features to his first variant from The Clone Wars, except this one's head piece is double-sided, one smiling, the other with an angry expression. The head piece used on this minifigure is the same as the one used for Kenobi's 2012 Episode III variant. Obi-Wan again came with his traditional weapon, a blue-bladed lightsaber with a silver hilt.

Also in 2013, a second Episode II Jedi Knight variant of Kenobi was released as part of 75021 Republic Gunship. This version of the figure has the same face and torso as in 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor, as well as a dark orange long-haired hairpiece, and a tan coloured leg piece with black outline to represent the bottom of his robe, a leg piece which was also used on Coleman Trebor in the same wave as 75021.

The third and final variant released in 2013 is of an Obi-Wan from The Clone Wars. This variant is based on a mission during the Clone Wars where Obi-Wan underwent a facial transformation program to impersonate the bounty hunter Rako Hardeen and as such, the minifigure is based on Rako Hardeen's likeness and not Obi-Wan's. The leg piece is olive green, with gold printing for detailing such as for around the knees, and also has a brown holsters on each leg. The torso piece is dark grey with olive green arms and grey hands. It features printing on the front, detailing the jacket and its lining around the neck and shoulder areas. The lining around the shoulders is depicted on the back of the piece, as is a dark red logo in the centre. The head piece features two blue eyes, with a dark red tattoo around the left eye and the rest of the left side of the face. The lower part of the face is shaded darker, and overall features a serious expression. The piece has a single wrinkle printed on the back. As Hardeen was bald and Obi-Wan shaved his head when impersonating him, no hair piece is included. This disguised version of Obi-Wan comes with a black sniper rifle (formed by placing a piece commonly used as a lightsaber hilt on the end of a blaster rifle).

In 2014, a redesign of Obi-Wan as a Jedi Master was released. The head and torso piece remains the same as his previous version depicting him as a Jedi Master in 2012, the torso and legs have been redesigned. The folds of his robe on the torso piece is now more angular, and the inner robe is brown instead of orange. The belt is also more detailed, and both the belt and robe design continue to the back printing. The dark tan leg piece also features printing in tan and black, which is used to represent the bottom of his tunic. The set this variant of Obi-Wan was released in, 75040 General Grievous' Wheel Bike, is based on the duel in Episode III' where Obi-Wan is fighting General Grievous after he had lost his lightsaber. As such, Obi-Wan comes armed with an electrostaff and a blaster.

The set 75052 Mos Eisley Cantina features a Ben Kenobi variant. As opposed to a cape, this version of Kenobi instead has his dark brown outer robes printed on his torso and leg pieces. It also features white and dark brown inner robes with a brown buckled belt. His face features a happy expression with wrinkles and a rough beard. This version of Obi-Wan comes with a silver-hilted, blue-bladed lightsaber.

75058 contains a new version of Obi-Wan, this time as a Padawan. This variant retains the hair, torso, cape and lightsaber of the previous Padawan variant, as well as the main face printing design of this variant's head. However, the legs will feature printing with the design used on Obi-Wan's latest Jedi Knight variant, and the alternate head printing features an angry expression as opposed to a breather.

Video game variants[edit | edit source]

In LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game, Obi-Wan makes a total of three appearances. His first appearance comes in the Episode I chapter, as "Obi-Wan (Padawan), where his appearance is based upon his second physical Padawan variant, except with flesh-coloured skin as opposed to yellow. This Obi-Wan, along with Qui-Gon Jinn, is one of the two starting characters for the game. "Obi-Wan (Jedi Master)" is based upon his Jedi Knight variant, except once again the yellow skin is replaced with a flesh colour. In the Episode III chapter, "Obi-Wan (Episode III)" can be unlocked, which is based upon his original Jedi Master physical variant. All three of these characters are able to use the Force and double-jump, and are armed with blue-bladed lightsaber, which they can use to attack enemies or deflect lasers.

For LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, two Obi-Wan characters were introduced. "Ben Kenobi" is based upon the first two physical Ben Kenobi variants except with flesh-coloured skin and brown cape. He is armed with a blue-bladed lightsaber and has the ability to build certain object, use the Force and double-jump. "Ben Kenobi (Ghost)" can also be unlocked, and has the appearance of the "Ben Kenobi" character recoloured transparent blue. The ghost Obi-Wan is has the same abilities as "Ben Kenobi", but additionally is unable to be killed except for jumping off the edge of a level and is unable to be seen by enemies. LEGO Star Wars II also allowed for the player to import save data from the original game, so the other three Obi-Wan variants could also be used in Free Play mode.

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga brought together both of the previous games, so all five of the previous Obi-Wan characters could be used.

In LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, "Obi-Wan Kenobi (Geonosian Arena)" is a playable character in the opening mission. This character has the legs and torso based upon his physical Jedi Knight variant, but his head and hair is based on his The Clone Wars variant, except the eyes are replaced with black dot-eyes with white pupils. Obi-Wan's normal variant in the game, "Obi-Wan Kenobi" is based entirely upon his The Clone Wars variant, except for the eyes once again being replaced. Finally, an "Obi-Wan Kenobi (Classic)" variant is unlockable and based upon more recent Ben Kenobi variants. All three Obi-Wans have the ability to double-jump, use the Force, cut through specially marked walls, perform lightsaber throws, and jump up special sets of walls by burying their lightsabers into one wall and leaping to the other.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens sees two variants of Kenobi- "Obi-Wan Kenobi (Classic)", based on his physical 2014 Ben Kenobi variant, and "Obi-Wan Kenobi (Episode III)" which is based on his 2014 Episode III version. Both characters are armed with a lightsaber.

Background[edit | edit source]

At an early age, Obi-Wan was taken to be trained as a Jedi, and at the age of 13, began his training under Master Qui-Gon Jinn. Towards the end of his apprenticeship, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan were called upon to settle a dispute between the Trade Federation and the people of Naboo. However, the Trade Federation were under the influence of the Sith, and the dispute became hostile, with an invasion on Naboo being launched, and the citizens of the planet being imprisoned. However, after meeting Jar Jar Binks and Boss Nass, the two Jedi managed to free the Queen Amidala, and escaped on a Naboo Cruiser, intending to travel to the galactic capital of Coruscant to seek assistance. However, the ship was damaged by the Federation's orbiting blockade, and they were forced to land elsewhere, deciding on the desert world of Tatooine. The two Jedi split up, with Obi-Wan staying with the ship, and Qui-Gon to go into Mos Eisley to acquire replacement parts for the ship. A day later, as Qui-Gon was returning to the ship with the parts and a boy, he was attacked by a Darth Maul, a Sith Apprentice. Obi-Wan ordered the pilot to take off, and hover nearby the duel between Jinn and Maul, allowing Qui-Gon to escape the battle.

On Coruscant, Obi-Wan reported to the Jedi Council with Qui-Gon, telling them about their encounter with the Sith warrior and Anakin Skywalker, the Force-sensitive child who Qui-Gon freed on Tatooine. The Council agreed to allow Anakin to be assessed to see if he could become a Jedi, despite being much older than when most Jedi begin their training. After Anakin was tested, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon met the Council once again with Skywalker this time, and were informed that Anakin would not be trained as a Jedi due to his advanced age. They then proceeded to tell them that the Queen was about to leave for Naboo, and they should escort her.

On Naboo, the Queen gathered her forces and formed an Alliance with Boss Nass and the Gungans, and battles with the Federation were initiated on several fronts. The Jedi remained with the Queen, until a door opened in the hangar opened, with Darth Maul blocking the way. The Queen and her security forces looked for another path, while the Jedi and Sith prepared to duel. As the duel progressed, Obi-Wan began to fall behind, at one point leaving him between forcefields, and forced to watch his Master fight Maul alone. During this time, Maul managed to get through Qui-Gon's guard, killing him. Obi-Wan then proceeded to attack Maul when he was freed, managing to cut the Sith Lord's double-bladed lightsaber in half, but was Force-pushed into a pit, though he managed to grab hold of a protruding power node. Obi-Wan then calmed himself, and leaped out of the pit, at the same time using the Force to grab his fallen Master's lightsaber, and cut Maul in two, who fell down the pit. After Naboo was liberated, Obi-Wan was promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight, and took Anakin to be his Apprentice, fulfilling his Master's dying wish.

Ten years later, Anakin and his Master Obi-Wan were tasked with acting as bodyguards for the now-Senator Padmé Amidala after an assassination attempt. That night, another attempt on Padmé's life was carried out. Anakin saved Padmé from two venomous insects, while Obi-Wan grabbed onto the hovering courier droid which deployed them, hoping it would lead him to whoever sent the droid. Meanwhile, Anakin commandeered an airspeeder to catch up to Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan dropped off the droid as it was destroyed by its owner- the bounty hunter Zam Wessell. Anakin flew underneath Obi-Wan and caught him in the speeder, then they chased Zam through Coruscant. Anakin leaped out of the speeder and landed on Zam Wessell's speeder, while Obi-Wan took over flying the speeder. Zam's speeder crashed after Anakin had damaged it, and she fled to a nearby cantina. Obi-Wan landed his speeder and caught up with Anakin, and the two entered the bar together. The pursuit ended when Zam attempted to shoot Obi-Wan, but he managed to disarm her first. Obi-Wan and Anakin took Zam outside the cantina and attempted to interrogate her, but before she could reveal any important information, she was killed by a toxic dart, fired by a Mandalorian who escaped with a jetpack.

Obi-Wan learned from Dexter Jettster that the dart came from Kamino, and proceeded to travel to the planet. There, Obi-Wan met with Taun We and Lama Su, Kaminoans who told him that they were creating a clone army for the Republic, which neither Obi-Wan or any of the Jedi knew about. Obi-Wan also met the source of the clones, a bounty hunter named Jango Fett, and his son Boba. Obi-Wan realised that Jango was the bounty hunter who killed Zam Wessell, and attempted to arrest him, but he and Boba managed to escape after the two fought, but not before Obi-Wan placed a tracker on Jango's ship. Obi-Wan followed Jango to Geonosis, and came upon leaders of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, a group of worlds who wished to break away from the Republic, talking about a large droid army they had formed. Obi-Wan returned to his ship and sent a message to the Jedi Council relayed through Anakin, but was attacked by Droidekas as he was broadcasting, and ended up being captured. After refusing an offer to join Count Dooku, Qui-Gon's old Master and leader of the Separatists, he was taken to an arena for execution and joined by Anakin and Padmé, who set out to rescue him.

The three were eventually saved by Jedi forces led by Mace Windu, and clone forces with Yoda. Anakin and Obi-Wan then confronted Dooku when they caught him attempting to escape, however this resulted in Obi-Wan being wounded in the arm and leg, and the loss of Anakin's right arm. However, they were saved by Master Yoda, who engaged Dooku in battle, forcing Dooku to retreat.

Shortly after, Obi-Wan was granted the rank of Jedi Master and Anakin became a Jedi Knight. Obi-Wan also also appointed to the Jedi Council, and was given the military rank of High General during the Clone Wars. He carried out several missions with Clone Marshall Commander Cody, and also with Anakin, his Apprentice Ahsoka Tano, and Captain Rex.

Three years in to the Clone Wars, the Chancellor was captured by General Grievous. Obi-Wan and Anakin flew through the space battle above Coruscant in to Grievous' flagship to rescue the Chancellor. When they located the Chancellor, they were confronted by Count Dooku, and the three duelled once again. Obi-Wan was knocked out by Dooku not long into the battle, but Anakin defeated and killed Dooku thereafter, and the mission soon resulted in a success with the Chancellor restored to safety.

Obi-Wan was then sent to the planet Utapau, where General Grievous was hiding. He engaged the droid general in battle, and after a duel consisting of several weapons including lightsabers, electrostaffs and blasters, Kenobi was able to eliminate Grievous. Not long after this, Chancellor Palpatine was revealed to be Darth Sidious, the Dark Lord of the Sith, who ordered all clone troopers to kill the Jedi. On Utapau, Commander Cody complied, with him and his men opening fire on Kenobi. However, Obi-Wan was able to escape, and fled the planet in Grievous' starfighter. Obi-Wan then met up with Senator Bail Organa and Yoda, and soon learned that Anakin had turned to the Dark Side and become Darth Vader. Yoda ordered Obi-Wan to confront Anakin, while he dealt with the now-Emperor. Obi-Wan found Anakin on Mustafar, when he stowed away on the pregnant Padmé's ship after he suspected that she was going to meet the new Sith. Obi-Wan then fought Vader in a lengthy duel on the lava world, and was successful in defeating his former student, severing his legs and non-mechanical arm in one strike. Obi-Wan left the scene, taking Anakin's lightsaber as he fell into the lava. Obi-Wan then took Padmé to Polis Massa, where she gave birth to twins: Luke and Leia. Obi-Wan decided to take Luke to his step-uncle and aunt on Tatooine and watch over him from a distance, and Bail would take Leia to Alderaan as his adopted daughter.

Nineteen years in to the reign of Emperor Palpatine, head of the Galactic Empire, Obi-Wan, who now went by the name Ben, encountered Luke Skywalker. Luke was pursuing R2-D2, who was insisting that he had to deliver a message to Obi-Wan. The message was from Princess Leia, who was asking Obi-Wan to take Artoo, who had the schematics of the Empire's new battlestation, the Death Star to Alderaan so that the Rebel Alliance could find a way to destroy it. Obi-Wan eventually convinced Luke to come with him to Alderaan, and began to train him in the ways of the Force. Kenobi hired the Millennium Falcon, piloted by Han Solo and Chewbacca, to take himself, Luke, R2-D2 and C-3PO there. When they arrived in the Alderaan System, they discovered that Alderaan had been destroyed by the Death Star, and their ship was caught by one of the station's tractor beams. After eluding capture from the Imperials, Ben set out to disable the tractor beams alone. After evading Stormtroopers, he was able to disable the tractor beam, but was met by Darth Vader, who Palpatine had saved from the lava on Mustafar and put him in a black suit of armour. Former Master and Apprentice duelled for the last time, but then Obi-Wan, seeing Luke running towards the Falcon, realised that he could help Luke better in other ways, allowed Vader to strike him down.

However, during the nineteen years he had spent on Tatooine, Obi-Wan had learned how to retain his identity after death after receiving training from his old Master, Qui-Gon. Obi-Wan helped and watched over Luke on several occasions, including telling him to trust his instincts instead of the targeting computer when he was a part of the Rebel Alliance's assault on the Death Star, leading to the space station's destruction. Obi-Wan was present on Endor with Luke after the destruction of the Emperor and the Second Death Star, along with two of his recently deceased friends who had also learned how to become Force ghosts- Master Yoda and Anakin Skywalker, who Luke had helped to turn back to the light before his death.

Obi-Wan heads from the 7255 General Grievous Chase were incorrectly added to several of the earlier releases of the 7665 Republic Cruiser instead of Qui-Gon's head.
Kenobi is in the set 7962 Anakin Skywalker and Sebulba's Podracers, however he is not in that scene in the movie.
Obi-Wan was voiced by James Arnold Taylor in LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace, the official audio double for Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi, as well as the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Clone Wars movie and TV series.
In a LEGO Catalogue his name is misspelt as Obie-Wan Kenobi several times.
In Revenge of the Brick, Obi-Wan has a similiar appearance to his latest Jedi Knight variant, even though the movie was made a few years before the figure.
