The First Order TIE Pilot, also referred to as a First Order TIE Fighter Pilot or just a TIE Pilot, is a Star Wars minifigure first released in 2015.
Description[edit | edit source]
The First Order TIE Fighter Pilot has a black leg piece, with dark grey detailing on the legs and a black belt with dark grey detailing on the leg joint. This minifigure's upper body piece is all black, with dark grey outlining the pilot's armour on both the front and back of the piece, as well as outlining for the life support system around the chest area. The life support system has additional silver, grey, blue and dark red printing for buttons. A flesh-coloured head is used, with black eyes with white pupils, downturned black eyebrows, a clenched mouth outlined in black showing white teeth, and a darker flesh colour used for detailing the cheekbones, chin and a crease between the eyebrows. The TIE Pilot comes with two accessories- a black blaster pistol, and a black helmet moulded especially for the TIE Pilot. The piece has dark grey printing for detailing as well as outlining the mouth and eye areas, and two small silver rectangles, one above each eye. A small silver circle is printed at the bottom of the left side of the helmet, whereas a rubber tube is attached to the bottom of the right side. When the TIE Pilot wears the helmet, it appears as if the tube plugs in to the life support system printed on the upper body piece.
Video game variants[edit | edit source]

Background[edit | edit source]
First Order TIE Pilots served the first order navy, commonly flying TIE/fo space superiority fighters. The First Order identified children who had piloting potential and put them through rigorous training, then tested them throughout their careers to make sure that they maintained their coordination, reflexes and visual acuity.
