TC-14 is a Star Wars minifigure introduced in 2012. She is a TC-series protocol droid with feminine programming. She is primarily silver, and is constructed much like C-3PO and TC-4.
Description[edit | edit source]
TC-14 is a droid with printing much like C-3PO's. She is mainly metalised silver, with light bluish grey hands and orange optical sensors. Printing of a restraining bolt is on the left side of her chest. In the center of her stomach is a circular pattern shared by all protocol droids. In between her hip and stomach printing are exposed wires of blue, red, white and yellow. Wires can also be seen in the lower back area, below a rectangular plate in the center.
In the Video Games[edit | edit source]
TC-14 appears in the video game LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game, as a playable character in the first mission. She is also unlockable in LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, if the player applies the Use Old Save option in-game. TC-14 is also playable in the first mission of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. In all of the games, TC-14 has the ability to gain access to areas which only a protocol droid can open.
Background[edit | edit source]
TC-14's master was Nute Gunray, viceroy of the Trade Federation. TC-14 was often used to distract visitors from Gunray's true evil, most notably the Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi. While Gunray consulted with Darth Sidious about the arrival of the Jedi, TC-14 kept the Jedi busy. Gunray then gave the order to kill Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, and filled the room where the Jedi were with dioxide. When a party of Security Battle Droids came to "destroy what's left of them", TC-14 was seen emerging from the hazy room, and shortly after, the Jedi took care of the security droids and escaped the ship. Later, during the battle of Naboo, the young Anakin Skywalker destroyed the Trade Federation command ship, and TC-14 went down with it.
