Obi-Wan Kenobi is a minifigure based on a character from the Star Wars universe of the same name. To date, eighteen variants of Obi-Wan Kenobi have been released, with another one known of which will be released in 2012. Kenobi first appeared in the opening year of the LEGO Star Wars theme- 1999. He has also appeared in all four LEGO Star Wars video games, with a total of eight different characters. Two different Obi-Wan minifigures were released in 1999- one depicting his appearance in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, the other being based on his appearance in Episode IV: A New Hope. Obi-Wan's original Episode IV minifigure has tan legs with a dark brown leg joint, and a tan torso piece with yellow hands. The torso piece has black printing for the outline of Ben's robes and also for wrinkles on the outer robe. Red-brown printing is used towards the top of the piece for depicting an inner robe, and yellow printing is also used as skin, joining the torso piece to the head. The head piece is yellow, with light grey printing on it in the shape of a beard, and it is also used for his eyebrows. Black printing is used for the mouth and also for the two dot-eyes, and a standard light grey hairpiece is used. This variant of Obi-Wan came armed with a blue-bladed lightsaber with a chrome silver hilt. |

Benny, also referred to as 1980-Something Space-Guy, is a supporting character in The LEGO Movie voiced by Charlie Day. Benny makes two appearances in the toyline based on the film. The character's inclusion and design are influenced heavily by the Blue Classic Spaceman from the 1980's. In fact, Benny's inclusion in the film is because co-director Chris Miller requested that a character from the Classic Space era appear in a large role because of his nostalgia for the theme. |

BIONICLE (a portmanteau created from the words "biological" and "chronicle") was a constraction theme with a series of sets using TECHNIC pieces alongside ball and socket joints and a variety of specialized parts to depict the masks and armour worn by various characters and creatures. Aside from being LEGO's first full fledged exploration of the possibilities of buildable action figures, BIONICLE is also notorious among the LEGO community for its overarching and complex story, especially compared to the vague backgrounds for a handful of characters and a couple of tie-in comics in LEGO Magazine most themes are relegated to. The theme was introduced in 2001 where it introduces the Toa Mata to the mysterious island of Mata Nui. BIONICLE concluded in 2010 with the BIONICLE Stars featuring characters and creatures which had appeared in the theme's assorted arcs. BIONICLE will return to production in 2015 after a hiatus of four and a half years. |
